I’ve been slacking on these posts. Here is another post about my summer internship:

Well, I finally was able to complete my first large assignment. I converted all of the PowerPoints and had them ready to publish. However, this is where I came to learn another one of my numerous lessons about working. Expediency is sort of an ironic word in the workplace. You may be able to finish something fast on your own accord, but then you have to check with your supervisor who then checks it with someone else, who then checks with another person, which in turn, means that in a time of instant gratification and instantaneous results, I guess it’s comforting to know that slow processes will never go away. Oh and I moved up. I went from the first floor to the second floor. It was kind of depressing seeing as on the first floor it was like a library and there were two other cool guys named Ranga and Andrew that were down there that were helping coach me up on work. I even gave us the “Big 3” title. Unfortunately, I had to take my talents to the second floor. This should be an interesting move.
