I hope your Thanksgiving went well and no family secrets were revealed this year. By the time you read this, you’ll probably be emerging from a food coma. That being said, I want to draw people’s attention to an overlooked fact:
I know Drake’s album was not overlooked. For the record, that was one of the best albums I have heard, not only because it showcased Drake as a complete artist, but it also beat the stigma of award winning albums. Most people think that to have a truly great album, one has to employ the help of super producers such as Kanye West, Pharrell, Timbaland, etc. However, “Take Care” did a great job showing that it doesn’t matter who produced your album, as long as it’s a good quality. Drake employed the help of his OVOXO team to produce his album, with most of the beats being taken care of by Drake’s best friend, Noah “40” Shebib, The Weeknd and Boi-1da, among others. The end result is an album that paid good attention to details and introduced a unique sound.
